Why are supplements an important part of a healthy lifestyle?

Adequate nutrient levels are essential in maintaining our body’s metabolism and biochemistry.1 Unfortunately, less-than-perfect diets and depleted nutrients in our soils, coupled with higher levels of stress and environmental toxins, contribute to nutrient depletion in many people — even when eating a diet rich in clean, nourishing foods. Wide reaching nutrient deficiencies in our population have been documented by government-funded research (including omega 3’s, folate, vitamin D, iron and magnesium).
